The Pleasanton Rotary Halloween Spirit Run 5K/10K is back!

The event will be occurring on Sunday, October 22nd at 8:00 am in Downtown Pleasanton. As a past participant, we hope that you will join us again for this family-friendly, fun morning that helps us raise money to support scholarships for Pleasanton students and the community and international projects of The Rotary Club of Pleasanton.

This past year, The Rotary Club of Pleasanton has been able to award $76,500 in scholarships to Pleasanton students to further their education - this would not have been possible without community support of the Halloween Spirit Run.

The 2022 event will start and finish on Main Street in front of Workbench Hardware, and all 5K/10K entrants will receive a long sleeved t-shirt with their race entry. We also offer a Kid's Challenge for ages 2-8, which includes a short-sleeved t-shirt.

How to Register

All registration for this event takes place online. Youth discounts are available for the 5K/10K.

Long sleeve shirts are included in the entry fee for the first 750 5K and 10K runners and walkers to register.   Sign up today to reserve your t-shirt!

Leashed Dogs & Strollers

Well-behaved dogs are permitted in the 5K or 10K; all dogs must start in the back of the pack at the starting line, be on a non-retractable leash, and be cleaned up after by their human. Dogs attending the event should be comfortable in crowds as well as around other dogs.

Strollers are allowed in both the 5K and 10K; we ask that you start towards the back.

We hope to see you out there on Sunday, October 30th! Bring your costumes!
