| On May 26 & June 1 the Rotary Club of Pleasanton awarded $54,000 to 14 local high school students and on June 21 awarded $22,500 to local college students who needed financial assistance. All students completed the application and interview process. They were rated on a 5 point scale: Financial Need, Presentation, Future Prospects and Community Service/Leadership. All students were very deserving. Most of the funds for these scholarships were raised through the October Spirit Run held annually in Pleasanton. |  |
