Our next Spirit Run will be on Sunday, October 25th, 2026!
Did you know that 100% of donations and sponsorship dollars raised for this event go back to our community? Proceeds from this race go to scholarships for local students as well as to local 501(c)(3) organizations. Prior year grant recipients include Hively, Open Heart Kitchen, Sunflower Hill, Agape Villages, Hope Hospice, the Valley Humane Society and more.
The Rotary Club of Pleasanton’s annual Spirit Run will be back to Main Street this Fall!
Features of this year’s event include:
- 5K/10K entry includes the choice between a short-sleeve DryBlend t-shirt or a long sleeve 100% polyester performance t-shirt
- Halloween-themed finisher medals for all participants
- Fun, family-oriented atmosphere – costumes are encouraged!
- Event is both dog and stroller friendly
- Continuation of our post-race raffle, expo area, refreshments, and music
Proceeds from the Spirit Run help enhance the local philanthropic efforts of the Rotary Club of Pleasanton, including:
- Scholarships for students attending higher education
- Student achievement awards
- Wheelchairs for those in need
- Activities and support for local seniors
- Clean-up and improvement projects throughout the Pleasanton community. Recent past projects include enhancement of the Arroyo del Valle, lights for school tennis courts, fixing up the Pleasanton cemetery, and planting trees for the sports park.
